We had a great turnout for the Relay for Life, our team raised 1512.40 and won the team spirit award, thanks to all of you who helped with the bake sale, zumbathon and the relay for life event and for those who donated money, fruit, skinny water, decorations and etc. You were all so fun and I appreciate your hard work and patience with me :) I have a lost and found box from the Relay, I will bring it to my classes this week.

The Biggest Loser Contest is over and we have a new contest starting this week, if you bring two friends who have not been to our class in the last 6 weeks, you will win a free class pass to be used the next class you come to.

Biggest Loser Weigh In Week

Hello Ladies,

This is our final week of the biggest loser contest, we will be doing weigh ins tonight in Cayuga and on Thursday in Covington. The one who has lost the most weight will receive a 10 class punch card.

If you weighed in at Veedersburg, you will need to weigh in at Covington this week, we will not be having a class in Veedersburg on Saturday the 19th due to the Relay for Life event and the Veedersburg Alumni Banquet.

We will be having a new contest beginning next week (Summer Fling) Details will be announced in classes this week.

Remember the Relay for Life is this Friday night, our Zumba Fitness with Connie team has raised over 1000.00 already this week, we have raised our goal to 1500.00. Rockville Classes Postponed

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will postponing classes at the Clark Center in Rockville for the summer months. The class size had become really small with little league, softball and etc.
However, I am looking at some other locations in Rockville and will start classes again as soon as I can.
I really am going to miss the Rockville girls but I will be back... Just taking a break and making a few changes.

The Biggest Loser Contest

Tonight we will starting the Biggest Loser Contest in Rockville.
You may choose not to participant, it's just for fun.
The contest will run for 6 weeks and will end the week of June 7th.

We will have lots of weight loss tips along the way and I will challenge you to exercise 3 to 4 days a week... Zumba, walking, jogging, tennis, curves, kickboxing, videos or anyway you can fit exercise in.

We will weigh in every other week, whoever losses the most weight that week will win a zumba prize. The person who loses the most weight in 6 weeks will earn a punch card.

Start working today on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes. I'm working on this too.

Zumbathon was a huge success, we had 45 people and several boxes of supplies for the Parke Co. Food Pantry.

Due to the poor weather conditions, I will be cancelling classes this evening in Rockville.

I don't like to cancel but because of the windchill temps and road conditions I have decided it would be in everyone's best interest to cancel.

I will see you on Monday evening for our zumbathon for the Parke County Food Pantry.

Try to get some exercise in at home whether it's your wii fit or treadmill or shoveling snow. Ha

I am still debating on classes tonight. I will let you know around noon or 1.

I am thinking if the wind dies down soon, that by 4:00 they may have the roads clear. I will be talking to the Clark's too about their parking lot, they have it plowed but with the wind still blowing it won't do much good.

I would love to have classes tonight but don't want to take any chances of you being hurt driving to zumba.

We had our first zumba class in the foyer and it worked out great. You can zumba anywhere as long as you have music !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to our latest prize winner, Cathy Mills. She was the winner of the zumba coin purse on Wednesday night. Cathy attends zumba regular and has entered her name several times.

Well, we are getting some freezing rain in Kingman but the weatherman said that it will be changing to all rain by this afternoon. Good ole winter, don't you just love Indiana this time of year????

Don't worry we will create a lot of heat in the Clark Center this afternoon. Zumba Gold at 4:00 P.M. and Zumba at 5:30 P.M. See you there.

Congrats to Patty Laney

Thanks to all of you for another great Zumba night. I am so thankful for my zumba gold and zumba class. You are a great group of girls and it's so nice to have all of you in my classes.

Congrats to Patty Laney, she is a participant of zumba gold and her name was drawn for the 2nd prize of the contest.

Working on some more new songs for next week. How about some more belly dancing songs????? Or maybe some new salsa???? Can't wait to share some more new songs and music with you.

What a great class we had last night for Gold and Zumba Gold.

Just wanted to let you know that I heard back from the zumba home office yesterday concerning the DVD's. They only come as a set, if you would like to order a set for home use, you can go to www.zumba.com and click on shop. The set sells for 49.95 plus shipping. I can also order them for you, I will be placing an order soon, let me know if you are interested.

Hope you are enjoying your snow days. I have been working on new zumba songs.

I will be teaching a few new songs this next week and of course we will have many of our old ones.

I am also looking at some DVD's and CD's for all of you to purchase at class.

The DVD's come as a set, I am checking to see if I can sell them separate to lower the cost. I will let you know on Monday.

What a great night we had at both zumba classes. Thank you everyone for making it so much fun.

After the Zumba class, we drew a name for the first prize. Kristine Sauter won the first prize of the contest which was a pair of the zumba logo stud earrings. Congrats to Kristine.

For the month of January, every time you come to class, you can enter your name in the drawing. For every new person you bring, you can enter your name twice. We will draw for a prize every Wednesday. You must be present to win. Both classes are combined, if a zumba gold participant is drawn, you will be notified after class. The last Wednesday of January, the prize will be a 10 class punch card !!!!!!!

It's time to start a New Year with Zumba. To kick it off we will be having a drawing every Wednesday in the month of January.

Each time you come to a class you will enter your name in the drawing. Each time you bring a friend to a zumba class you will get 2 entries.

We will draw for a zumba gift every Wednesday. You must be present to win. The last Wednesday of the month, January 27, 2010, the prize will be a 10 class punch card.
